RULES FOR 2013
DISCLAIMER
The rules and regulations setforth herein are designed to
provide for the orderly conduct of racing events only. They are to establish minimum acceptable requirements for such
events. No expressed guarantee of safety shall result from publicaton of, or compliance with these rules and/or regulations.
They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport and in no way a guarantee against injury or death to participants.
ALL RULES FOR THE DRAGSTRIP WILL BE PER IHRA 2012 RULES BOOK.
THE FOLLOWING TRACK POLICIES WILL BE IN ADDITION
TO THE RULE BOOK:
1. NON ELECTRONICS CLASS (FOOTBRAKE) WILL BE AN ALL RUN
FIELD
2. ELECTRONICS CLASS (SUPER PRO)
WILL HAVE AN E.T.
REQUIREMENT OF 7.99 OR QUICKER
3. FIRST BYE RUN
WILL BE THE BEST REACTION TIME FROM THE
DASH FOR CASH. EACH SUBSEQUENT
BYE RUN WILL BE GIVEN
TO THE BEST REACTION TIME. IF BYE CAR IS PAIRED UP, BYE
CAR HAS LANE CHOICE UP TO THE FINALS.
4. FINALISTS IN EACH CATEGORY WILL
DECIDE LANE CHOICE BY
A FLIP OF A COIN.
5. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE BYE CAR BEING PAIRED UP, ALL
CHOICES
WILL BE DECIDED BETWEEN THE DRIVERS.
6. NO CHANGING OF DIAL-INS AFTER PASSING THE READY LINE.
7.
TWO MINUTES WILL BE GIVEN TO ANY PARTICIPANT WHO HAS
NOT REPORTED TO RUN AFTER BEING
GIVEN THE CALL TO RUN.
AFTER TWO MINUTES THEY WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
8. WITH
8 PARTICIPANTS OR LESS, FMSP WILL PAIR THE
CONTESTANTS UP IN A MANNER OF OUR
DISCRETION.
9. IF THE WINNER OF A ROUND'S VEHICLE BREAKS AND IS UNABLE
TO REPORT FOR
THE NEXT ROUND, THE LOSER CANNOT BE
SUBSTITUTED FOR HIM.
11. POINTS
WILL BE AS FOLLOWS: (Redline)
10 ENTRY POINTS
10 POINT PER ROUND WON
10 Points Extra for Winning Race
5 Points Extra for Runner up
